My whole life I've been surrounded by the best orators, storytellers and bullshit artists that Aotearoa has to offer. Watching these speakers captivate an audience was a sight to behold. Growing up, I knew I wanted to be like them.
My professional career started at a young age, performing with the Patea Maori Club, travelling in NZ doing events like Christmas in the Park, The Rugby World Cup, WOMAD, New Zealander of the Year Awards, Maori Sports Awards. Gracing the stages at The Cloud, Queens Wharf, Westpac Trust Stadium and The Vodafone Events Centre just to name a few. Touring with NZ music royalty has shown me what a good event looks and feels like. That experience has given me what it takes to be the best.
I qualified from Excel School of Performing Arts in 2010 with an Advance Certificate in Performing Arts, that saw me take on a 20 Week tour of NZ singing, dancing and acting in various schools and churches from Whangarei in the north to Dunedin in the south.
MC Pro's beginnings-
MC Pro started when Taiaroa began hosting Patea’s Annual Waitangi Celebration Day – Paepae In the Park. Becoming the host 8 out of 17 years that the event has been running. This amateur work created momentum to host events like weddings, birthdays and career expos to multi day events like the Ngarauru Toi Ahurea with over 500 people participating and youth summits which includes our recent amazing race.
Bringing humor and wit MC Pro gives you the opportunity to create an event like no other. Giving you the real kiwi attitude and making sure your guest know whats happening and when.
MC Pro is there to make sure your event is fun and ON TIME. . . .there abouts.
